Franciabigio

Franciabigio [ frantʃabi dʒo ː ] (* 1482 in Florence, † January 24, 1525 ) was an Italian painter.

Franciabigio actually Francesco di Cristofano Bigi, studied with Mariotto Albertinelli and became the friend of Andrea del Sarto. 1513 he painted together with this in Santa Annunziata de ' Servi at Florence; is due to him in the fresco Marriage of the Virgin, her, he even damaged bitterly about the premature disclosure by the monks by a hammer blow.
