Francis John Dunn

Francis John Dunn ( born March 22, 1922 in Elkader, Iowa, USA; † 17 November 1989) was Auxiliary Bishop of Dubuque.

Life

On June 1, 1969, Pope Paul VI appointed him. Titular Bishop of Turris Tamalleni and appointed him as Auxiliary Bishop of Dubuque. The Archbishop of Dubuque, James Joseph Byrne, gave him on 27 August of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Saint Paul, Leo Binz, and the Bishop Emeritus of Winona, Edward Aloysius Fitzgerald.
