Francis Phoebus (Fr. François Phebus or François- Febus, Spanish Francisco Febo, * November / December 1466; † January 30, 1483 in Pamplona ) was King of Navarre from 1479 to 1483.

He was the only son of Gaston of Foix (* 1444, † 1470 ), Prince of Viana ( 1462-1470 ), and Madeleine of France (* 1443, † 1495 ), the sister of the French king Louis XI ..

1472, on the death of his paternal grandfather, Gaston IV of Foix, he inherited at the age of 5 years, the title of which, namely, Count of Foix, Co-Prince of Andorra, Viscount of Béarn, Count of Bigorre and peer of France. 1479, on the death of his paternal grandmother, Eleanor of Navarre, he inherited at the age of 12 years from her the crown of the kingdom of Navarre. Since he was still a minor, he was in all the offices under the regency of his mother.

His brief and embattled reign ended when he was poisoned while playing the flute. He died unmarried and childless. He was succeeded by his sister Catherine.
