Franco Citti
Franco Citti ( born April 23, 1935 in Rome ) is an Italian actor.
Life
Citti, who comes from a humble background, learned in the 1950s by his brother Sergio know the writer and later director Pier Paolo Pasolini. This gave him as amateur actors starring in his first film Accattone ( 1961). Even later Pasolini kept reaching back to him, it took Citti also starred in Edipo Re ( 1967) and was featured in numerous supporting roles in other films of Pasolini; Citti was next Ninetto Davoli one of his favorite actors.
Multiple Citti played in films of his brother Sergio and led with this co-directed with Cartoni animati (1997).
Citti appeared in over 60 films, including in The Godfather. Since the 1980s he has increasingly worked for television and on stage. Critics often described the " intense physical and exceptionally expressive" design of his roles.
