Franco Imoda

Franco Imoda SJ ( born 1937 in Turin) since 2005, consultant to the Congregation for Catholic Education, and since September 2007 president of the AVEPRO.

Life

He studied philosophy in Vals- près- le -Puy in France and theology in Chieri, near Turin. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Chicago, and completed his education at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute and the psychosomatic and psychiatric Institute of the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. Prior to his appointment as rector of the Pontifical University Gregorianavon 1998 to 2004, he held a professorship at the Institute of Psychology of the University since 1971.
