François de Bovet

François de Bovet (* March 21, 1745, † April 6, 1838 ) was Bishop of Sisteron since 1789 and archbishop of Toulouse since 1817.

He was ordained in Paris on 13 September 1789 Bishop.

Since it is on the one hand not known which bishop has ordained him, on the other hand one, albeit small, part of living today Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church have their succession root in him, the same bishop has a great importance for the Roman Catholic Church.
