Frank Bolle

Frank Bolle ( born June 7, 1924 in New York City ) is an American comic book artist.

Life

Bolle was born in New York and grew up there. As a child, he was so impressed that he drew something on every note he could get his hands on drawing. He attended the High School of Music & Art

After the Second World War Bolle found work in the burgeoning comic book industry. He began his career at Magazine Enterprises, where he was Western, such as Tim Holt, Redmask and Best of the West. He also drew science fiction comics, including Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon and Dr. Solar ( Man of the Atom). The latter is his most popular superhero who appeared at Western Publishing. In Germany appeared Doctor Solar, Man of the Atom, the picture magazine publisher ( BSV ).

For Western Publishing Frank Bolle Grimm's stories, Boris Karloff 's Tales of Mystery and Rod Sterling's Twilight Zone recorded.
