Frank Richter (footballer)
Frank Richter ( born January 5, 1952 in Kamenz ) was soccer player in the DDR - Oberliga teams of Dynamo Dresden and Riesa steel and was used in seven matches of the national football team of the GDR.
Frank Richter's football career began at the domestic BSG Einheit Kamenz who delegated him as 16 -year-olds to SG Dynamo Dresden. There he already made himself a name as a youngster. He stood 19 times in the junior national team of the GDR, with whom he won the 1970 UEFA youth tournament. In 1974 Judge with the U -23 European vice-champion, overall he graduated with the U-21 and U-23 selections 43 games.
1969, with 17 years, denied the 1.74 m wide attacking player his first games with the league team of Dynamo Dresden. This year, the era of success Dresdner, who won five championships and twice the DDR FA Cup until 1978 began. In his first championship year, 1970/71 judges had been used in 23 of the 26 point games, but had only two goals. The season was concluded with the final of the East German Cup, where Dynamo Dresden and the Berliner FC Dynamo faced each other. His fourth championship title he won with only five league matches, with his last championship 1977/78 he could once again deny ten games.
In the season 1980/81 judges was only used in the Hinserie in the league squad of Dynamo Dresden. He had denied within 12 years, 127 of 299 possible point games and scored 20 goals in the process end of 1980. At 29, he had to admit that his health the high demands of the now six-time football champion Dynamo Dresden was no longer meeting. He joined in January 1981 for small local rivals Stahl Riesa, for which he still played six league games until the end of the season, but then had to experience the descent into second-rate DDR League with the team. In the summer of 1982 Frank Richter finally finished his career as a football player.
Far happier was judge career in the GDR national team. In his first championship with Dynamo Dresden, he was employed on 2 February 1971 for the first time in the senior team. During the tour of South America, he came in the game against Chile ( 1-0) in 83 minutes for the center forward Peter Ducke on the field. A week later he came against Uruguay (3-0) in the 43rd minute for the injured left winger Eberhard Vogel into the game and scored his only international goal. In the third tour game, again against Uruguay (1-1) judges stood on the left wing in the starting lineup. By 1973, he came to another four A- international matches, so a total of seven missions.
After the end of his career as an active football player was Frank Richter coach unterklassiger several teams, most recently at the Meissner SV 08 He also became an enthusiastic equestrian trailers. His main job was managing director of a post-1990 Dresdner dealership.
