Frank Sullivan (ice hockey, born 1898)
Gerald Francis "Frank" Sullivan ( born July 26, 1898 in Toronto, Ontario, † January 8, 1989 ) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.
Career
Frank Sullivan began his career as a hockey player in the team of the University of Toronto, with which he Allan Cup 1921, the Canadian amateur championship titles won. In 1928, he took with the Toronto Varsity degree who had a year earlier also won the Allan Cup, Canada at the Olympic Winter Games. Although he had not previously belonged to the squad of the team, his brother Joe helped him against the wishes of coach Conn Smythe a place in the team. In the 1930s, Frank Sullivan himself was head coach of the Toronto Varsitiy degree.
Internationally
For Canada, Sullivan participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 partly in St. Moritz, where he won the gold medal with his team. He scored in the tournament in three games two goals.

Family
His brother Joe Sullivan was also 1928 Olympic champion in ice hockey. His son Peter Sullivan was ice hockey player and played 126 games in the National Hockey League.
