Frankétienne
Frankétienne ( real name: Frank Étienne, born April 12, 1936 in Ravine - Sèche, department of Artibonite, Haiti) is a writer, poet, playwright, musician and painter. He writes both in French and in Haitian Creole. As a painter, he is known for his colorful abstract works, which often emphasize the blue and red colors. In addition to his artistic work, he was also headmaster and 1988 short-term culture minister.
