František Komňacký

František Komňacký (* November 15, 1951 in Želetice ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach. The educator is one of the best Czech football coach.

Player

As a player, never made it Komňacký in the top flight and saw the sport after his studies as a hobby in addition to his day job as a teacher.

He first played for the then second division Jiskra Kyjov, 1970, he went to Volgograd to study and played at this time for the local third division Neftjanik. After graduating in Education Komňacký returned to Kyjov, where he soon began working as a youth coach. After one season at Sigma Hodonín he moved in 1984 to Agro Drnovice and witnessed the rise of the team from the sixth to the first league, where he played regularly until the fourth division.

Coach

First experience as a trainer made ​​Komňacký 1978-1981 as a youth coach at Jiskra Kyjov. Also during his year in Hodonín he oversaw one of the junior teams. From 1986 to 1988 he was head coach in Drnovice, then to 1994 assistant. His next two stops were Hanácká Slavia Kroměříž and Tatran Poštorná. In the season 1999/ 00 he led the first FC Synot in the first league, 2002, he was involved in the rise of the FK Zlin.

His first title won Komňacký in Slovak Corgoň league. In August 2002, he took over the MŠK Žilina, but was released after only three months, the team was Slovakian champion at the end of the season. Komňacký went to Matador Púchov and won the Slovak Football Cup.

He then went to Banik Ostrava and was surprisingly win Czech Championship. After the start of the 2004/05 season was a disappointing one, Komňacký was dismissed. In April 2005 he took over with the MFK Ružomberok again a Slovak club and won in the 2005 /06 league and cup double. In February 2007 he accepted an offer of the Russian first division club SKA Rostov- on, in October 2007, he returned to the Czech Republic and took over the FK Jablonec.
