Frantz Kruger

Frantz Kruger ( May 22nd, 1975 in Kempton Park, Gauteng) is a Finnish discus thrower of South African origin.

The Junior World Champion from 1994 in 1998 African champion and won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. A year later he won at the Pan-African Games and at the Universiade.

In 2000 he achieved his biggest success by winning the bronze medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

By 2005, it reached more numerous top rankings in major international events. He was eighth at the World Athletics Championships in 2001 in Edmonton and each sixth in the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis and the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki.
