Franz Isser

Franz Isser ( born August 17, 1932 in Matrei am Brenner ) is a former Austrian Bobsportler.

Franz Isser comes from a family of successful Austrian bobsled and luge athletes. The family also belonged to Henry, Fritz, Mary, Paul and Joseph Isser. He celebrated his biggest international success at the Bob World Championships 1962 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, when he won the bronze medal together with his brothers, Joseph, Henry and Fritz. Two years later he began at the Olympic Games 1964 in Innsbruck with Reinhold Durnthaler in the two- and there was ninth.
