Franz Reznicek

Franz Reznicek ( born October 20, 1903 in Baden bei Wien, † unknown) was an Austrian architect. After moving to Bludenz, where he initially led an architectural firm together with Alois Dönz, he was responsible for many buildings in the area Bludenz, Vorarlberg.

Life

With 12 years Reznicek moved to Innsbruck, where he spent three years later joined the four-year Baufachschule the college for building construction in Innsbruck. After internships at his trainers L. Welzenbacher Reznicek completed on February 13, 1923 his final exams at the Baufachschule.

Then he continued his work in the office Welzenbacher continued as a permanent employee. In 1926 he moved to the city building department Innsbruck and two years later he took over the management of the Innsbruck offices for Arch north of Bolzano.

After participating in the competition of the state fire insurance Bregenz together with Alois Dönz Reznicek moved in 1929 to Bludenz and opened an architectural office with Alois Dönz. Finally, in 1936 was its inclusion in the Central Association of Austrian Architects and 1949, he also placed a civil engineer examination at the Chamber of Engineers for Tirol and Vorarlberg from.

After retirement Dönzs Reznicek led the architectural office for another five years before he retired. Today Reznicek lives in Bludenz.
