The Frauensee is one of five small lakes of Tyrol's Lake District in the community Kramsach. The Frauensee was declared a natural monument in 1973.

Location

The lake lies at the foot of Voldöppbergs, north of the Inn valley, but is not considered a mountain lake. It is 150 meters long and 120 meters wide, covering an area of ​​18,000 m². Today the lake is put under protection. His flow, which is located in the south of the lake is used as a water drive for a feed mill. It is fed mainly by slope water.
