Fred Chichin

Frédéric "Fred" Chichin ( born June 1, 1954 in Clichy, † 28 November 2007) was a French rock musician and singer- songwriter who became famous with the avant- pop duo Les Rita Mitsouko.

Biography

His parents Madeleine and Jean- Lois Chichin he owes Italian and Scandinavian roots from the Auvergne. His father was a supporter of the Nouvelle Vague and founder of the magazine Miroir du cinéma. He took his son to many Nouvelle Vague previews with, but he was more interested in old Western from Hollywood productions. In addition, it tied the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

With 14 years Chichin played drums and accordion, as he got to know the music of Jimi Hendrix and discovered his passion for cinema and theater.

Chichin died on 28 November 2007 at the age of 53 from cancer and is buried in the Cimetière de Montmartre.

Artistic Career
