Fred Travalena

Frederick Albert Travalena III ( born October 6, 1942 in the Bronx, New York, † June 28, 2009 in Encino, California ) was an American voice imitator, comedian and actor.

Life

Travalena grew up in Long Iceland and moved to Los Angeles, where he first appeared as a voice imitator in clubs as a young man. Since the early 1970s he received TV offers and developed in shows like The ABC Comedy Hour continues its Act. Numerous shows and programs committed him as a guest star who imitated as a "man of a thousand voices" movie stars and musicians. He stepped in Las Vegas ( since 1971 ), Reno and Atlantic City on their own shows. He also worked as a voice actor for animated films again and again.

On television, he presented the mid-1980s the Game Show Anything for Money, and had in the series Good sports a guest appearance. In 1992, he came as Michael Jackson at the MTV Awards on stage.

Travalena In 2005 he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
