Frédéric Sy

Frédéric Sy was a French astronomer.

Sy worked from 1879 to 1887 in the Paris Observatory from 1887 to 1918 and was assistant astronomer at the Observatoire de astronomique Bouzareah. He discovered two asteroids, El Djezair and Bouzareah. The asteroid Sy was named after him in 1951.
