Frederick F. Campbell

Frederick Francis Campbell ( * August 5, 1943 in Elmira ) is an American clergyman and Bishop of Columbus.

Life

The Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, John Robert Roach, ordained him a priest on 31 May 1980.

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 2 March 1999 in Saint Paul and Minneapolis and Titular Bishop of Afufenia. The Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Harry Joseph Flynn, donated to him on 14 May of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were John Robert Roach, Archbishop Emeritus of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, and Joseph Leo Charron CPPS, Bishop of Des Moines.

On 14 October 2004, he was appointed Bishop of Columbus and introduced into the office on January 13 of next year.
