Freelancers is an American drama directed by Jessy Terrero from the year 2012 with 50 Cent, Forest Whitaker and Robert De Niro in the supporting roles.

Action

The film is about the young son of a police officer who respected the ex-partner of his father receives as a supervisor after completing police academy. But his new boss stands for power and corruption. The young graduate can for the time being at the game, but then follows but his ideals. However, this is dangerous.

Background

On the realization of the film production companies Freelancers Grindstone Entertainment Group, Cheetah Vision and Emmett / Furla Films were involved.

The film was not in the U.S. and German cinemas. The DVD premiere in the U.S. was on 10 August 2012. In Germany the film was released on November 29, 2012 on DVD and Blu- ray Disc in Constantin.

Reception

The lexicon of the International film ruled that the film little exciting, rather below average, and attached is cool, and that the U.S. stars would adapt this level.
