Freihofer's Run for Women

Freihofer 's Run for Women is a women's race in Albany (New York), to be held since 1979. He is one of the most important road races worldwide over the distance of 5 km; but at the same time also take part in many folk runners. From 1979 to 1991, a 10 - km run part of the program, until 1988 this was the main run.

The start and finish is on Madison Avenue at the New York State Museum. Most of the route runs through the Washington Park.
