Freising Motorsport is a specialist on Porsche cars German car tuners, which formerly also held a Motorsport team. The company was founded in 1967 by Manfred Freising in Karlsruhe and is now managed by his son Manfred Frei Singer Junior.
The team took from 1992 part of the international motor sport and launched initially in the Porsche Supercup. In 1995 he was the first to participate in the 24- hour race at Le Mans. The first major international win was in 1998, when Freising Motorsport Porsche 993 GT2 won the class LMGT2 at Petit Le Mans. In the same year, the team went into the FIA GT Championship. 1999 occupied Freising Motorsport third place in the team standings and was the best Porsche team. Followed in 2000 on the Euro Speedway Lausitz, the first race win in the FIA GT Championship.
As of 2001, the Porsche 996 GT3 RS was used, which in its class to now only limited competitive Porsche 993 GT2 replaced. Now the team competed in the smaller N- GT class. In the 2002 season, scored Freising Motorsport in the FIA GT Championship a total of seven class wins. 2003, the team ranking in the N- GT class again Freising Motorsport.
