Friedrich Albrecht Karl Herrmann, Reichsgraf von Wylich und Lottum

Imperial Count Friedrich Albrecht Carl Hermann von Wylich and Lottum ( born April 20, 1720 in Anklam, † March 3, 1797 in Berlin) was a Prussian officer, most recently General of Cavalry, chief of the Dragoon Regiment No. 1, Knights of the Pour le Merite and the Black Eagle and canon of Halberstadt.

Life

Friedrich came from the old noble family of Cleves Wylich and Lottum. He was the second son of General Johann Christoph von Wylich and Lottum and his wife Baroness Hermione Alexandrine of Wittenhorst - Sonsfeld ( born September 4, 1685 † April 23, 1745 ).

He was cornet in 1737 Cuirassier Regiment No. 8 ( idol ) and 1745 lieutenant. Him by Frederick II the Domherrenstelle was handed over to Halberstadt on July 14, 1753.

In August 1755 he was Staff Captain. In September 1756 he has been a real Captain and Major in 1758. In 1763 he became commander of the regiment.

In 1769 he became lieutenant-colonel, colonel in 1772 and in June 1774 head of the Dragoon Regiment No. 1 ( Zastrow ). On August 17, 1777, he was appointed major general and on May 20, 1787 Lieutenant General. In 1791 he received the Black Eagle. On December 28, 1794, he received as a cavalry general to say goodbye and walked on January 16, 1795 in Pension.

He has participated in all the campaigns of Frederick II. He fought in Chotusitz, Hohenfriedberg, thrush, boiler village, Lobositz, Prague, Kolin, Rossbach, Leuthen, anger village, Hochkirch, Liegnitz and Torgau. He was also at the sieges of Prague, Olomouc, Dresden and Scheidnitz it. As on September 13, 1787 troops were set to Kleve in march, Lottum leads to the second column and went to Waterford at Arnhem over the Rhine. The revolt was soon ended and the troops returned. However, the General remained until the beginning of 1788 in Holland.

Family

He was with Sophie Beate von Schlichting (* August 8, 1736, † October 28, 1801 ) married the daughter of the chief administrative officer Alexander von Schlichting. The couple had the following children:
