Friedrich Christian Glume
Friedrich Christian Glume (* March 25, 1714 in Berlin, † April 6, 1752 ) was a Prussian sculptor at the time of Frederick the Great. He is considered one of the greatest sculptors of Potsdam.
Friedrich Christian glumes brother Carl Philipp (1724-1776) was also a sculptor. Her father was the Schlüter - pupil Johann Georg glume (1679-1765), who worked at the tomb of the Potsdam Garrison Church and created the monument for the Great Elector in Rathenow. There is one in Potsdam, named after the family of sculptors glume Glumestraße.
