Friedrich Gottlieb Bartling
Friedrich Gottlieb Bartling ( born December 9, 1798 in Hannover, † November 20, 1875 ) was a German botanist. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Bartl. ".
Life and work
Bartling studied at the University of Göttingen science, traveled to Hungary and Croatia in 1818, was a lecturer in 1822, Professor in 1836 and in 1837 director of the botanical gardens in Göttingen. In 1862 he was elected a member of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina.
