Friends of Lulu

Friends of Lulu ( Friends of Lulu ) was founded by Trina Robbins and other signatories in 1997 non-profit organization in the United States of America.

The name derives from the comic heroine Little Lulu by Marge ( Marjorie Henderson Buell ) from the 1940s, from which fought undeterred by social conventions for admission to the Boys Club. Friends of Lulu promoted the participation of women in the comic book industry and formed social networks to enable communication between artists and women in other areas such as publishing, distribution and sale. Lulu Awards
