Kim Yale

Kimberly " Kim " Yale ( born November 22, 19531997) was an American comic book author and publisher editor.

Life and work

Yale has worked since the 1970s as an editor and writer for the U.S. comic publishers Marvel Comics, DC Comics, First Comics and WaRP Graphics. Your most frequent artistic partner was there her husband, the writer John Ostrander. Together with this Yale worked among other things on the series Suicide Squad and Manhunter, they also plotted as a guest, editions of the series Legionnairs, Batman Chronicles, Deadshot and Elfquest.

Yale died in 1997 from breast cancer. Since then the organization will award Friends of Lulu in her memory of Kimberly Yale Award, a prize for promising young artists from the U.S. comic industry.
