Frigyes Mezei

Frigyes Mezei ( German Friedrich Wiesner, born September 26, 1887 in Mór, † March 27, 1938 in Budapest) was a Hungarian sprinter.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he left more than 100 m and 200 m in the flow. In the Olympic season, he won the Hungarian team in the cast Pál Simon, Mezei, Jozsef Nagy and Odon Bodor the bronze medal.

In 1912 he reached the 200 m and 400 m the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Stockholm. In the 4 x 400 - meter relay, he retired with the Hungarian team in the preliminary round.

In 1910, he was 220 yards, 1910, 1913 and 1914, over 440 yards Hungarian champion.
