Fritz Bauer Prize
The Fritz Bauer Prize of the Humanist Union was founded in 1968 in memory of her co-founder, Fritz Bauer, the long-time attorney general of Hesse and socially committed lawyers. This award honors the Humanist Union " contribution to the humanization, democratization and liberalization of the legal system ." Women and men are honored, the " justice and humanity give uncomfortable and fearless application ."
