Frose is a district of the city Zealand in Saxony -Anhalt.

Geography

Frose located in the northeastern Harz foothills, east of the lower Selke. The temperate climate in the rain shadow of the resin and the fertile soils Frose to ensure high yields of intensive agriculture.

History

The development of the town is closely linked with the Romanesque Collegiate Church of St. Cyriacus in Frose, already come with a central nave and west side of the 10th century.
