FSC Bukovyna Chernivtsi

The FSK Bukovina Chernivtsi (Ukrainian ФСК Буковина Чернівці / FSK Bukovyna Terschniwzi ) is a football club based in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi today. He currently plays in the Perscha Liha, the second highest Ukrainian football league. Its home games he carries out in the 12,000 -seat stadium Bukovina.

History

The club was founded in 1958 was at times represented during the time of the Soviet Union in the second and third Soviet league. First, he was still wearing the name Avangard, renamed Bukovina was 1964.

After the independence of Ukraine Bukovina Chernivtsi became initially eligible to play for the newly formed first Ukrainian league.

After three seasons, we finally had to accept relegation to the second division in the 1993/94 season. The club came soon after in serious trouble and had first time in 1999 relegated to the third division. After one could still celebrate the direct promotion back to the second division in the season 1999/2000 season, Bukovina ended up in the very next game time on the bottom of the table and rose again from League three.
