The FSV Gluckauf Brieske - Senftenberg is a football club from Senftenberg in the German state of Brandenburg.

History

1919-1945

On January 19, 1919, the club FV Grube Marga was founded, it was called SV Sturm Grube Marga 1924 in order. He entertained each two men, youth and student football teams. The first men's team played from 1941 to 1943 for two seasons in the Gauliga Berlin -Brandenburg, the then highest German league and reached there the places 6 and 10 (last place).

Sports Association, Sports Club until 1989

After 1945, led by the Soviet occupying power dissolution of the association was created in 1946 out of the "Sport and Culture cartel Brieske Pit Marga " the sports community ( SG) Grube Marga. The second team rejoined the BSG activist Brieske East, which ran as BSG activist Brieske - Senftenberg after fusion with the BSG activist Senftenberg from February 1972 and in the following years and in some cases even played in the second-rate DDR -Liga below.

After the establishment of civil societies became possible again by the political changes of 1989, established members of the previous BSG on July 20, 1990 FSV Gluckauf Brieske - Senftenberg. In 1991 the club was grouped into the Oberliga Nordost. After five seasons, the 1st team in 1996 increased from the fifth division Brandenburg.
