Fujiwara no Yoshifusa
Fujiwara no Yoshifusa (Japanese藤原 良 房; * 804, † 872 ) was the first of the great rulers of Japan from the family of Fujiwara.
As a skilled politician, he managed to put his own minor grandson as Emperor Seiwa to the Japanese throne, he himself acted as his regent ( Sesshō ) and thus de facto ruler of Japan.
He was the first ruler in Japanese history, which did not originate itself from the imperial family.
