Emperor Seiwa
Emperor Seiwa (Japanese清和 天皇, Seiwa - tennō; born May 10, 850; † January 7 881 ) was the 56th Tenno of Japan. He was the son of the Emperor Montoku and reigned from 858 to 876
The Klan Minamoto came from him: Minamoto no Yoritomo and Ashikaga Takauji came from this line. Tokugawa Ieyasu claimed that his house was from Nitta clan, a line of Emperor Seiwa, from what is doubtful.
