Full Tilt Boogie Band

After Janis Joplin and Sam Andrew ( gtr, voc ) had the Big Brother And The Holding Company left, there were two different musicians under the name Full Tilt Boogie Band ( December 1968 to December 1969), which is also on the recordings I Got The Blues Again Mama Old Koszmic were involved.

Sam Andrew went back to Big Brother And The Holding Company again after problems with Janis Joplin.

After the departure of Sam Andrew, the band played in the occupation of Janis Joplin ( vocals), John Till (guitar, vocals), Brad Campbell (bass ), Richard Bell ( piano ), Ken Pearson ( organ), Clark Pierson (drums).

After the band had broken up with Grateful Dead and other bands in July 1970 to a tour through Canada, they gave after their return on August 12, 1970 their last concert together ( before the death of Janis Joplin on October 4, 1970) in Cambridge ( at Boston), Massachusetts.

Then they returned to Los Angeles to finish the recording of the new album Pearl.
