Fumaça (footballer born 1976)

José Rodrigues Alves Antunes, called Fumaça ( born July 15, 1976 in Belém, Brazil), is a former Brazilian- Portuguese football player. He was used primarily as an attacking midfielder. Since end of his career he has worked as a coach.

Career

As a player

Fumaça played until the summer of 1998, the Brazilian club AE Catuense. In summer 1998, he moved to the English second division Birmingham City. There, however, he did not play. In early March 1999, he moved to third division side Colchester United, where he came to use one. A month later he moved to second division side FC Barnsley, however, where he again denied any use. In the summer of 1999, he then moved on to league rivals Crystal Palace and came to three inserts before Fumaça was committed by the first division club Newcastle United in September 1999. For this he came to five appearances in the House of Lords until the end of the season 1999/2000.

In the summer of 2000, his contract was not renewed and Fumaça was without a club. In January 2001 he returned to Brazil to his former club AE Catuense, which means since 2001 Catuense Futebol back. After a year he moved to America FC. After half a year at this club and a half years in Caxias FC, ​​Fumaça returned in January 2003, again back to Catuense Futebol.

In September 2004 he moved to Europe for the second time. This time, he signed a contract with the Czech first division side FK Drnovice 1. Fumaça came to ten inserts and scored a goal. However, the club rose after a license waiver from the second division.

Fumaça Then moved to Germany. He signed a contract with the Oberliga Berlin Türkiyemspor. In the season 2005/ 06 he came to 15 appearances and scored two goals. In May 2006, he completed a trial with second division side SC Paderborn 07, which then took him in June 2006 for one year under contract. However Fumaça could not prevail and there was only a single time in the squad, but was not used. In January 2007, he therefore moved to the third division SV Wilhelmshaven. There he came to the end of season 2006/ 07 to ten inserts and scored one goal. In the summer of 2007, his contract ran out and was Fumaça without a club. For the second half of 2007/ 08 he returned to Türkiyemspor Berlin back in the league. There he came to seven inserts. At the end of the season the club finished 3rd place and promotion to the Regionalliga.

In the summer of 2008, however Fumaça ended his playing career due to injury. In March 2010, however, he was still standing in three games for the FSV Hansa 07 Berlin in the county league on the court.

As a coach

In October 2009 Fumaça was coach of the youth of the C- 07 FSV Hansa Berlin. For the 2012/13 season, he took over the post of head coach of the first team. , Until the resignation on 18 October 2013.
