Funai Denki K. K. (Japanese船.井 电机 株式会社, Denki Kabushiki Funai - gaisha, Eng. Funai Electric Co. Ltd. ) is a Japanese manufacturer and distributor of consumer electronics and consumer electronics.

History

The company was founded in April 1951 by Tetsuro Funai in Osaka as Funai Mishin Shokai (船井 ミシン 商会, Eng. Funai Sewing Machine Company). In September 1961, the name changed to the present name was. In 1976, the headquarters from Osaka to neighboring Daitō.
