Fünf auf dem Apfelstern

Five on the apple star was filmed in 1981 of the Augsburg Puppet Theatre as a puppet piece in four episodes each half an hour. The written and directed by Sepp Strubel come, who published the material as a children's book.

Action

The story begins on a ship, on which a seaman has called Old Heiko carved a box. This box went overboard, as the sailor had just fallen asleep and so the wooden box drove for a long time through the sea. By chance, the box came to an underwater rocket into space and so on a strange planet, the apple star.

The box jumps up and the content is visible. In addition to a telescope and a clock are in it four dolls and a blowfish. The five, the sailor Heiko Two left two right, the porcelain doll Ria Rio, the Matryoshka doll Grusinchen from Grusinia, Chinaboy and the puffer fish are on their way to explore the planet. They meet on their scouting trip quite quickly to the inhabitants of the planet, already facing them skeptical at the beginning. Visitors will be considered enemies of the Dergeln and shot from a catapult out with pancakes. The voracious pufferfish eaten a pancake after another, what the five but does not save. They are caught and brought into the interior of the planet. There will soon find out that the planet is really a huge apple that grows back again and again.

The five dolls can escape and try a home-made hot air balloon, where the puffer fish serves as a balloon, to leave the planet. They do this not because of a list of Dergeln. Back on the apple star to the earth's inhabitants, the Dergeln front of a giant worm protect that threatens to destroy the apple star. As it turns out, this giant worm is nothing more than a giant caterpillar, which is the five, and even the well-disposed Dergeln. The surface threatens to burn and blame a weather satellite whose mirror is now the sunlight reflects directly on the apple star. Chinaboy and the Caterpillar ( ' Raupi '), dealing with the pufferfish ( ' Kufic ') has befriended, again, together with the puffer fish as a balloon on the way into space to reverse the mirror. This is done to them and the apple star shines saved. To thank the inhabitants of the earth to get a wish from the time machine kind Dergeln given. Quick is clear that they want back in the box and back on board the ship, launched from the adventures of the. However, the alarm clock is stolen by a thieving magpie. In the meantime, Raupi transforms into a butterfly, and can get back together with Heiko the alarm clock from the Magpie hiding on the moon red cabbage.

And so come the five back in the box and on the ship to Old Heiko, who wakes up from sleep. As the sailor opens the box, a butterfly flies out and joins the puffer fish.

The figures

Heiko Two left two law is a typical sailor, an impetuous character, which is slowed down by Grusinchen in his rashness. His name Two left two law comes from the knitting technique with which his sweater was knitted.

Ria Rio is a beautiful porcelain doll. She is very careful and always anxious to get no jump in porcelain.

Grusinchen from Grusinia is the calm and level-headed member of the group. She brought her four daughters and needed their help, as the group deals with the caterpillar.

The puffer ( Kufi ) must burp all the time, when he hears of something edible or drinkable, so he constantly apologizes. It is used as a balloon for the balloon, which he is hanged upside down with the open mouth, over a candle. Later he gives the Chinaboy the ' R' in exchange with pancakes, which eats the blowfish only too happy. The puffer befriends later with the caterpillar or butterfly.

Chinaboy can not ' R' speak what Heiko always elicits improvements and Fluchereien. He comes from Hong Kong.

The Dergeln are the inhabitants of apple star and converse in their Dergel - language consisting solely of the word " Dergel " in a variety of accents. The leader learned that ground language in telegraphic style, which is why he "stop" says at the end of each set. The typical type of Dergeln is to bounce.

The caterpillar ( Raupi ), which was initially seen as an enemy of the apple star, is increasingly becoming the friend and later transformed into a butterfly ( Schmetti ). The caterpillar becomes friends with the puffer.

In the orbit of a satellite is a mouse that every now and then get past the apple star. She looks after things there and always has a cheeky comment on the lips.
