Gabriel Zakuani

Gabriel Zakuani ( born May 31, 1986 in Kinshasa) is a Congolese football player.

Career

Zakuani started his career in 2000 in the youth team of Leyton Orient. In 2002, he came into the first team, which he served until 2006. Initially, in the Football League Third Division (Fourth Division) managed the club in 2006 to move up to the now named Football League One (3rd Division). After this good performance, he was obliged by Fulham, but came to no use until 2009 and was further awarded over again.

The first stop of the lending was Stoke City, to which he moved in 2007. Already in the first season at Stoke, the club with Zakuani was able to rise to the Premier League, but he was then on-lent to Peterborough United.
