Gabriela König

Gabriela King ( born October 8, 1952 in Osnabrück ) is a German politician (FDP ) and Member of Parliament of Lower Saxony. She is married and has two children.

Education and work

After school, King trained as a architectural draftsman and worked at an engineering firm for civil engineering. After starting a family, she worked in their own business.

Policy

Since 1996, King has been a member of the FDP. She is vice chair of the District Association Osnabrück City, a member of the district board and Osnabrück in Lower Saxony State Executive of the FDP. On 9 November 2005 she moved into the Lower Saxony state parliament for the retired Carsten Lehmann. There she was first a member of the Committee on Petitions and transport and tourism spokeswoman for her group. Since the re-election of 2008 she is a member of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport and Spokesperson for Economic Affairs, Labour, Transport and Tourism. In April 2011, she was elected to the provincial chairman of the Liberal middle class Lower Saxony.
