Gaby Deslys

Gaby Deslys ( born September 4, 1881 in Marseille as Gabrielle Claire, † February 11, 1920 in Montrouge ) was a French revue dancer, singer and actress.

Life

At the Conservatoire in Marseille Gabrielle Caire received her vocal training. In the Folies Bergeres in Paris, began her career in 1898 as a singer. She stepped et al at the Théâtre Capucies, Mathurin and Olympia. As a well-known singer in 1906 she left Paris and went to London. In the Burlesque The New Aladdin, she entered on 29 September 1906 at the Gaiety Theatre, which earned her the nickname The Charm of Paris.
