Gale Anne Hurd

Gale Anne Hurd ( born October 25, 1955 in Los Angeles ) is an American film producer.

Life

Your screen debut Downtown flopped with the box office earnings of $ 4,000,000. Shortly thereafter, she produced the hit movie Terminator. Along with the film's director James Cameron wrote the screenplay for which the two were awarded the 1985 Saturn Award. Later she turned Aliens, Abyss - Abyss of Death and tremor, followed by witch-hunt in LA, Safe Passage, The Ghost and the Darkness and I love Dick.

From 1984 to 1989 she was married to James Cameron, whom she met while working on Terminator. With Brian de Palma she was married between 1991 and 1993 and has a daughter. Since 1995 she has been married to screenwriter Jonathan Hensleigh.

In 2003, she was honored at the World Stunt Awards with Action Movie Producer Award. In 1993 and 2004 she was awarded by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, respectively the President's Award.
