The Gallows is a 556.6 meters above sea level. NN. high elevation in the west of the old town of Schwarzenberg in the Saxon Erzgebirge.

Description

The north of Rockel 's location Gallows Hill consists of two medium- mica granite. This is composed of quartz, orthoclase, plagioclase, biotite and muscovite and is durchschwärmt of numerous Eisenstein transitions. From 1757 to 1790 a total load of 2069 Eisenstein was in the cautionary tunnel which was being used until 1900 and was later used for the water supply of the city, and the pit Red Lion encouraged. Mainly on the terraces at the forest edges grow sycamore, aspen, rowan, hazel and wild cherry.
