Galkayo
Gaalkacyo (also Galcaio or Galkayo written; Italian Rocca Littorio ) is a town of about 62,000 inhabitants in central Somalia. It is located inland and is capital of the Mudug region.
Gaalkacyo is divided into two parts: While the southern district administrative headquarters of Galmudug, northern part of the internationally unrecognized Puntland. The city is one of the most developed in the region; were built schools, and a major airport located in the planning phase.
