Gamaliel IV.

Gamaliel IV ( רבן גמליאל הרביעי ) was a Jewish Patriarch in the late 3rd century. Approx. 270-290 he had presided in the council.

He was the son and successor of the patriarch Judah II and father of the patriarch Judah III. According to Halevy, he was a contemporary of Hoscha'ja, is narrated by the that he prevented the patriarch it introduce tithes in Syria.
