K. K. Game Freak (Japanese株式会社 ゲーム フリーク, Kabushiki - gaisha gēmufurīku, . Eng GAME FREAK Inc.) is the Japanese video game developer behind the famous RPG series Pokémon, which is marketed by Nintendo.

The company was founded in 1989 by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori. In honor of the founder is, the main character in the Japanese Pokémon anime Satoshi.
