Ganna Sorokina

Hanna Sorokina (Ukrainian Ганна Сорокіна, born March 31, 1976 in Zaporizhia ) is a former Ukrainian Water Diving. She jumped in the art of jumping from the 1- m and 3- m- board and along with Olena Schupina in 3 -meter synchronized diving. Sorokina participated in three Olympic Games and won a bronze medal, also it was once European champion.

Sorokina won at the European Championships in Istanbul in 1999 with Schupina gold in the 3 -meter synchronized diving. 2000 in Helsinki she won Bronze in the same competition. At the Olympic Games in the same year the duo with bronze reached its greatest sporting success. Sorokina also reached the final of the individual from the 3 -meter board and was eleventh. With Schupina she was in the 3 -meter synchronized diving at the 2001 World Championships in Fukuoka Fourth, it was Sorokinas best finish at a World Cup. They also took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in part at the 3- m springboard diving, missed the semi-finals as the 16th but the final. After the games Sorokina ended her active career.
