Gant-Hohtälli Cable Car

The cable car Gant Hohtälli is a large cable car in the area Zermatt, Canton Valais. It runs from Gant ( 2,223 m above sea level. M. ) on the Hohtälli ( 3,273 m above sea level. M. ).

It is 2'707 meters long and covers a difference in altitude of 1,057 meters. It was built in 1998 and put into the ski season 1998/1999 in operation. What is remarkable about this funicular that it passes over the highest with 94 meters cable car pylon in Switzerland.
