Gardner (crater)

Gardner is a lunar impact crater on the northeast front, on the northern edge of the Sea of ​​Tranquility, southwest of the crater Maraldi. The crater is bowl-shaped and slightly eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the American physicist Irvine Clifton Gardner.
