The Besançon Franche -Comté TGV Station (French: Gare de Besançon Franche -Comté TGV) in the northern part of the agglomeration of Besançon is one of two new stations on the LGV Rhin -Rhône. He went at the same time on 11 December 2011 with the rail line in operation, it is to be used annually by 1.1 million passengers. Infrastructure

The Besançon Franche -Comté TGV station has a total of six tracks, two of which are drive-through tracks for not holding TGVs. There are two tracks for holding TGVs and two stub tracks for regional trains commuting between the new station and the train Besancon Viotte. There is a connection between the LGV tracks and the connection to the Gare de Besançon - Viotte. The railway line connecting the Besançon Franche -Comté TGV train station and the train station Besancon Viotte was expanded (construction of an overhead line and renewal of buildings) for this new use.
